The Community features single-family and attached homes, condos, and townhouses. Cottonwood has 2,736 homes, and Palo Verde has 1,073 homes.

Our clubhouses offer residents an array of resort-style amenities, such as state-of-the-art fitness centers, heated resort-style heated pools, dozens of clubs, social activities, planned events, and excursions. If you have a hobby, we most likely have it available; you will never want something to do! For those outdoor enthusiasts, we have swimming pools, spas, tennis, racquetball, hiking and biking trails, and, oh yea, pickleball courts too.

Palo Verde also has Sisk Park with a picnic pavilion, bocce ball, volleyball, and a beautiful greenbelt to play games with the grandchildren. A Reminder, residents of both country clubs have access to all facilities in the Community.

Golf, golf, and more golf, Sun Lakes has a total of 5 golf courses! Cottonwood Country Club has a challenging but fair, beautifully landscaped, well-manicured par 62 Executive Championship style golf course. Cottonwood golf course has five sets of tee boxes designed for golfers of all abilities. Cottonwood Country Club does have a full-size driving range, pitching, chipping area, and putting green. Come out and play.

Palo Verde has a championship 18 Hole par 72 6,737-yard golf course. Palo Verde Country Club also offers a newly designed short game area. This area features a large 6,900 square foot putting green, 3,100 square foot chipping green, and 800 square foot practice bunker.
